If you wanted to tell your representatives anything constructive what would that be? ie: road repair, traffic congestion, development etc.

I'd say fix grand Marais E and put in a side walk before someone gets killed, it's very narrow, very rough and uneven, no sidewalks, huge potholes, and massive puddles when it rains.......

I'd say put more stop signs on major feeder streets. Ambulance; Fire etc blow thru the stops anyway, but something has to slow down the cars in residential areas where kids are playing BEFORE some child gets hurt or worse... Also, I love to see parks fixed up so kids can actually use them. Broken swings; slides; benches - graffiti especially . Washrooms would be a bonus! Dead tree removal in the parks too would be nice. New ones planted. Almost all roads I travel need massive repairs. Street widening too, like Ronnie mentioned is a huge issue in a majority of south Windsor Properties, mainly Cabana, Howard and Division. These areas also need massive garbage pick up's it's embarrasing how much garbage lies along our road sides. Huron Church - well there's an entire new topic in itself lol..

I'm not sure how to fix this, but I could use some advice and please tell me I'm not the only one.
First, ever hear the saying, 'You never know how many mustangs are on the road until you buy one?' I know it sounds strange, but it's true. If you buy something, you start comparing it with what you got.
Which brings me to this:
Last year, I was in a car accident (wasn't my fault and I never got a ticket) but the incident took on Wyandotte E. I was facing/ heading south (toward Tecumseh) on a cross street waiting for traffic to clear at a stop sign. Directly across from me, a van with NO signal on and I'm assuming he's going North (toward Riverside). The traffic clears and straight through I go. In the middle of the intersection, this guy makes a hard left into my driver door causing more than $3,000.00 in damages.
Needless to say, I suffered head injuries but that's not why I mentioned this. Since this accident, I notice that MANY MANY people DO NOT use their turn signals. It annoys me, because some day it could be a baby in the back seat. I know that cell phones can be hazard but the 'turn signal' came with the vehicle and is used when you are getting your license. How and what should/can be done? Am I the only one noticing this? Please assure me I'm not and if it annoys you as much as me, what should I do? (besides seek help lol)
As far as the topic (sorry I fled there for a moment) I am still wondering how we can get the same sidewalk treatment as the Casino.
The last big snow we had, the casino walks were being cleaned by City of Windsor trucks, but the next sidewalk going east wasn't touched. There was a handicapped man in a motor chair having to ride on the street and mothers with strollers were forced the same route. You've probably seen them struggle with their strollers on corners that have not been cleared. Not a good thing to witness so close to a tourist attraction is it?

Good question where does one start, our roads are in sad condition, sewers and water lines are last century standard. I have looked in some of these old water lines and it is not a pretty sight to see, I am sure my proctologist has seen cleaner lines in his work. So I would say sewers, water lines, road work and lots of it, and by the way build a new local jail,a big one, and maybe a nice big Prison close by too. FanzyPantzy you are so right in Windsor there is no need to have signals in you car,as no one uses them. I also find most people leave their common courtesy at home, when they drive to work and back.

I'd like to get all the reps on bicycles @ Ouelette & Tecumseh.. tell them they have 10 minutes to reach the Walmart on Dougall without endangering their lives in the process. But if they decide to travel down ouelette->dougall then they will be penalized 5 minutes for risking life and limb.
